I went to the used spaceship lot today. I really can’t afford a brand new ship since I am not getting any claim money from my last spaceship being blown to bits by the Doc’s alter ego. I had to sell the ship for scrap. I also got a little extra cash from the “oops” fund. Wally did feel bad.
I think I might even qualify for the cash for clunker spaceships program. I still haven’t heard back if I can get some extra cash but it didn’t stop me from looking.
They had a gently used 2001 Mustang Comet. It was the last year they made that model. It might be a little more than I can afford but it was still nice to take it for a test drive.
There was this 1997 Neptune Titan. That was affordable but a gas guzzler. Fuel prices are not that favorable right now.
Still a lot of work to do. I am doing homework looking at Consumer Reports. We’ll see what I can get. I need a ship soon. I need to make a living.
